At Providence we believe 2 key truths about serving:

  • The church is the hope of the world

  • Each one of us is uniquely gifted by God to advance His kingdom on earth.

As each person does their part, the opportunities for the church to grow increases!

Below is a list of Ministry Teams currently available at Providence.  If you are interested in signing up for one, click below to let us know!

Prayer Team: Prayer Partners spend time praying with people at the end of every service or they pray over private requests during the week.

Welcome Team: This team is responsible to greet guests at the front door and make them feel right at home, but it’s so much more than that.  The Welcome Team also included setting up fresh coffee and donuts, answering questions at the Connection Center, passing out the weekly Listening Guide, or serving communion during the service.  Take your pick of responsibilities.

KidCity Team: Investing in the next generation is the responsibility of our KidCity Team.  They show the love of God to our children in the nursery all the way through 5th grade.

Student Ministry Team: Teenagers learn not only about putting their faith in Christ, but also how to live for Christ.  If you love teens, this could be the place for you.

Worship Team: Do you have a gift for playing an instrument or singing?  The Worship Team kicks off every service with songs of praise.  Additional practices are mandatory.

Production Team: Lights and sound are a key element of the worship experience.  If you like designing or executing the production side of the service, this might be a great place to serve.

Small Group Leader: We believe Small Groups create a place for people to belong and grow.  We don’t teach, but we do facilitate discussion around the study of God’s Word.  Must be a Christ follower, available during the week, and willing to grow with others.

Missions Team: Do you have a heart for the community? Do you like serving outside of the walls of the church? The Mission Team is responsible to organize service opportunities throughout the year. Some service opportunities happen on our campus (collecting canned good), while others happen off campus (mucking houses after hurricanes). Either way, team members must be good at planning and have a heart for the community.
