What is a Small Group:
Groups are really just the smaller side of Providence. The Bible instructs us to do life with one another: we are to love one another, encourage one another, pray for one another, serve one another, and show hospitality to one another. Having said that, It’s hard to do life with one another during a Sunday morning service as one large group.
By meeting together in smaller groups we find the space not only to build friendships, but also to build one another up in faith.
What happens in a Small Group:
Most groups meet in homes (although some meet at the church) and typically meet for 90 minutes. During group gatherings you can expect to share a meal, talk about life, discuss the Bible, and pray for one another. And don’t worry if you are new to faith, Small Groups are a great place to ask questions whether you are a beginner or grew up going to church.
What Groups currently exist:
We have groups in Sugar Land, West Houston, and in the neighborhoods around Hodges Bend Middle School on most nights of the week. Send us an email to find out more about the right group for you!
