Missions 101

Missions 101 is designed to take us back to the basics. Why would we want to do that? For several reasons: first, we have a lot of new members who are not familiar with our missions program, second, even though we have promoted missions for years in our church using the Faith Promise Plan of missions giving, there are still some who have never participated. Last, for those who do participate, we want to reinforce the need and opportunity to be involved in missions. We have some wonderful mission couples and Bro. Henry and Sandy Powell to help us with our conference this year. Our conference begins on Wednesday evening, February the 7th, at 7:00 p.m. and goes through Sunday. A men’s breakfast takes place on Saturday morning and a ladies’ tea on Saturday the 10th. We will be going to Cottage Charm Tea Room in Katy. Please check the foyer for information on our luncheon.

Thank you for your participation!

Missons 101…Pray. Give. GO!

Our church will have its annual Mission’s Conference the 7th through the 11th of February! There is an article in another part of the bulletin about the baskets and gifts for the children. Please be sure to check that out and see where you can help!

The theme for our conference this year is “Missions 101…Pray. Give. GO”. Missions 101 is designed to take us back to the basics. Why would we want to do that? Second, even though we have promoted missions for years in our church using the Faith Promise Plan of missions giving, there are still some who have never participated. It begins with a love and compassion for the lost!

Please make plans now to join us during the conference! We have Bro. Henry Powell who will be our guest speaker, and 3 other young families that are working to get to their field for the first time!
