New Opportunity!

A new class will begin January 8th for anyone who is single, widowed, partner doesn’t attend, or for any other reason, you are invited to attend! The name of the class is “ETC” or “Everything Through Christ”. Ms Brenda Plummer has graciously accepted this position and is anxious to get started! If you fit in any of these categories, join her in the first classroom on the left in the Sunday school wing at 9:00 a.m.!

New College Ministry Beginning!

A new ministry will be starting next week on January the 14th! The college aged kids that are now in with the teens, will have their own class! This is a very important age in life, when many of life’s biggest decisions are made! We are so grateful that Bro. Cabrera sees that need and will be working with these students! If you know of any students in the age category, please let Bro. Cabrera know. We are excited to see great things from this ministry!

New Bible Study Beginning

There will be a new ladies Bible study beginning on January 17 at 9:45 a.m. The new study is entitled “Lies Women Believe” by Nancy Lee De Moss. Please see Karen Wyborny if you are interested in joining the study!

Super Sunday!!

February 4th, 2007 is not only Super Bowl Sunday, it is also Super Sunday at Oak Lake Baptist Church. After the morning service the youth will be serving a “Stadium Food” lunch to raise money for this years Summer Camp. Followed by a private showing of the movie “Facing the Giants” a story of the struggles of a man and his team. After this movie we will be holding a Field Goal kicking contest with a regulation size Field Goal with prizes for different age groups. At 5:00p.m. we will return inside for the Main Event of the evening, the Super Bowl!
