IMPORTANT!! Service Schedule Change!

Don’t forget that we are combining both of our services for the Christmas Season. Sunday School will now begins at 9:00 a.m. and our Morning Worship Service begins at 10:15 a.m.! This will be a great time to be together as a church family in our worship! In addition, Sunday evening activities will begin at 5:00 p.m. with the AWANAs and at 5:30 p.m. for our Youth and Worship/Bible Study.

“Candle in the Window”

Tickets are on sale now for our annual Christmas Banquet here at Oak Lake! The banquet will be on December 8 at 7:00 p.m. The price of each ticket is $10.00 per adult/teenager and you can purchase them from Lynn Fussell, Sandra Heerssen, and Erma Harvill. Don’t delay! It’s only a few weeks away! We want everyone in our neighborhood to know they are welcome at our church and that Jesus is welcome in our hearts as well! Join us in putting a candle in the window of your home, would you?

Christmas is Coming!

Christmas is coming! It’s time to start thinking about your gift to Jesus! It is His birthday, so let’s not leave Him off of our Christmas list! He deserves our very best! We are making some much needed repairs on our buildings, so your offering is very much needed and appreciated!

He Came to Us

The choir will be presenting their Christmas cantata, “He Came to Us”, on December 17th! The choir has been working diligently since September on this and it is sure to be a blessing! This is a great opportunity to invite friends and family to spend the evening with you! Plan to be there to hear some wonderful Christmas music!

Candle Light Service

Don’t forget to reserve Christmas Eve in the evening for our Candle Light Service! We will begin at 5:30 p.m. and it is always a blessing to all! Bring your family, both young and old to this celebration of the birth of Christ!

Now that November is here, our thoughts turn toward the Thanksgiving holiday.  Time spent with friends and family.  During this time, have you ever considered your attitude about Thanksgiving?  This week let’s take a look at The Attitude of Thanksgiving.
