Friend Day

Our schedule for Sunday, October 29th will be Sunday School & then Worship. There will be NO EARLY SERVICE that day! We hope that the commitment cards we have been giving you are helping you get commitments from your friends and neighbors to be here with us for Friend Day! There is a basket in the lobby for those cards that you would like to return! Don’t forget about those prizes for the ones that bring the most friends….Texans tickets for the adults, IPOD for the teens, and Incredible Pizza Gift card for the kids! What motivation!!!

 

All Nighter/Youth Rally in Katy

The teens at OLBC will be attending a Youth Rally at Central Baptist in Katy on October 20th. They are in need of drivers to help transport about 40 kids to and from the event. The cost is $15.00 per teen and that includes their meal for the night and any other expenses. The teens have been motivated by Bro. Tim to bring a lot of friends, as this would be a great way to get their friends exposed to the gospel! The teen that brings the most friends to the Youth Rally will gain a gift card from the First Colony Mall for $75.00!! If you are able to drive or have any questions, please see Tim Hughes!

BBC Day

On October 22nd, we will be having a BBC Day here at Oak Lake. During the course of the day you will learn about different projects going on at BBC, what the school is all about, and how we can help to make the school a better place for our students now and in the future! It will be a great day…don’t miss it!

Fall Festival

Our Fall Festival is just around the corner on October 28th from 1-5! We are still in need of helpers and workers for the various games and activities that day! This would also be a great opportunity to get some new friends to come with you for Friend Day which is the following day. We are also in need of a few other items.
